Top 5 Most Powerful Cards in Yu-Gi-Oh 2021

Yu-Gi-Oh or just Yugioh is the name that pops up when talking about popular card games and why not? This card game has been out and around for so long, even before many of us were even born. Started all the way back in the late 90s, it is one of the most popular collectible trading card games out there right now by Konami. The game is heavily inspired and based on a popular manga series.

Through all these years, Konami has introduced a ton of cards and as the demand grew higher for more powerful cards, Konami didn’t hesitate to back off and so, here are the 5 most powerful cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! In 2021.

Master Peace (Attack: 2950, Defense: 2950)

Master Peace is one of the most powerful cards you could have in your collection this year. The card deals a great damage but that’s not what makes this card so popular. According to Konami this card has the ability to become immune to the type of card that it is tributed to. Meaning if you tribute spell card to it, Master Peace becomes immune to spell cards but lucky for those who doesn’t own this, it got banned for being too overpowered.

Exodia, The Forbidden One (Attack 1000, Defense 1000)

Exodia, The Forbidden One surely is game changer or should I say match winner because having this card with 4 other pieces being the 4 limbs, you can put an end to the duel right away. But that might be a little hard to happen in a duel and by little, I mean a lot!

Super Quantal Mech King Great Magnus (Attack 3600, Defense 3200)

The name says it all here, I don’t even need to explain how powerful this card is. I mean just look at it, straight outta some action movie. But here’s the deal, you will summon 3 Super Quantal Mech Beast (Xyz Monsters) with different names from your Graveyard by sending it to the Graveyard. Cards with a value of 4 or more are untouched by card impact, with the exception of “Super Quant” cards. When you have 6 or more cards in your hand, the enemy can’t use card effects to add cards from the Deck to their hand.

Chaos Emperor Dragon (Attack 3000, Defense 2500)

Closing in at almost the end of our list for the most powerful cards, we have the Chaos Emperor Dragon, which of course, wouldn’t come as a surprise to any of you. Now using this, you can not only summon one dark and one light monster from your graveyard, but it allows you to send all the cards (both you and your opponent) to the graveyard 1,000 life points.

Apoqliphort Towers (Attack 3000, Defense 2600)

Claiming the top charts for the most powerful cards in Yu-Gi-Oh! We have the Apoqliphort Towers, this ones so powerful that tournaments were forced to ban this card. It’s a sign of game over for the opponent as this card is literally immune to all other types of cards except the overpowered monster card.
